Father Wilson shares his experience at the SEEK Conference in downtown Columbus, where 16,000 young adults gathered during their Christmas break to grow closer to Christ and His Church. Hosted by the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), the conference offered a powerful witness to the hunger young people have for authentic faith and community.
From reverent Masses with thousands kneeling in worship to the Making Missionary Disciples track exploring how to bring this movement to parishes, Father Wilson was struck by the joy and devotion of college students who chose to be there, not out of obligation, but because they’ve encountered Christ in a way that gives their lives new meaning and direction.
As SEEK returns to Columbus next year, this experience calls us to embrace our own mission: to form and send disciples of Jesus Christ, sharing the good news of our faith with friends, family, and neighbors in this Year of Saint Paul.
